Duoro Valley in winter

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are traveling in northern Portugal and are wondering how to do the Duoro Valley in January!! Are any trains running?? Boats?? Is it worth staying a few days in the valley?? Or best to stay in Porto and find a tour company that does a jaunt up the river?? We are not big wine connoisseurs, although enjoy a glass and a visit to one or two wineries.
