The old city of Dubrovnik is absolutely stunning. Whilst our trip to Mostar in Bosnia & Herzogovina was the highlight of our stay.

Simply beautiful photos! We loved Dubrovnik too.
wow! great photos!
Colin, these are quite possibly the most stunning photos I have seen of Dubrovnik. Brings back a whole flood of emotions for me as this is the first year I have not been back there since 2006
Thanks for sharing....the pictures are beautiful...We'll be going to Dubrovnik and hopefully Mostar in July. Thanks again.
Thank you all for your kind replies.
One of the best collections of photos I've seen. Will be there next month, your photos will be my inspiration.
That is a lovely picture of the Mostar Bridge spanning the two sections of the city. Where did you take it from?
Thanks for sharing....we too will be in the area for a month a couple of weeks from now and we can hardly wait!!
The photo of the old bridge was taken from the minaret of Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque.
It's no longer an active mosque so it's open to the public. It's quite easy to find as there was a sign directing you to it from the main cobbled street.
It claims "The Best View" and they weren't lying!
Have a wonderful time JoyC and Isabel !
Fantastic photos, Colin. Have you done - or will you be doing - a trip report for this one? Would love to read it.
Yes, I will certainly be doing a trip report for Dubrovnik & Mostar. It keeps me occupied whilst I'm inbetween adventures!
I'll pop back here and refresh this thread when I finish.
I just need to finish my Cuba trip report first!
Stunning pictures, Colin. They make me so homesick for Dubrovnik. Your beautiful photos also illustrate that every view as you travel the wall around the stari grad is a more beautiful sight than the previous one. I took an identical picture of the city from above which is now my screensaver so I can be reminded of it every day! Looking forward to your trip report.
