Dublin transportation help

Jump to last reply

Dublin experts, I could use some help with transportation options/information:

Dublin airport to Spencer Hotel... three of us plus luggage, just arriving from Chicago. I see that bus options are Airlink and Aircoach but I can't seem to figure out what our specific destination in the City Center should be. (We need just one way as we are picking up a rental car and heading out of Dublin the next day.) What is the difference between the two bus services? Or will Uber or a taxi make more sense for us?

The next day we are picking up a car at Hertz and heading to Kenmare; there are three choices for Hertz locations - 151-157 South Circular Road, 294A North Circular Road and Baggott Street Bridge. Any one of them easier than the other for us to get to from the Spencer Hotel - and then to head out of the city?
