Dublin Hotel Choice

A group of 8 adults will be staying three nights in Dublin in early September. 7 of the 8 have never been to Dublin before, Hotel choices are narrowed down to either Buswell's
or O'Callaghan Davenport. They are priced within $10 of each other, so price
is not really a consideration.

Any input to help make the decision?
Thanks in advance.

Buswell's, great location aircoach from airport drops you off within steps. Quiet but close to everything.

Thanks, I hadn't thought about the coach from the airport.
That will be very helpful.

WAWEGS, I have been in several hotels in Dublin for a few days each. Now I am spending a week there which revolves around Bloomsday, June 16. I chose BUSWELL'S after many recommendations on this board and it rep on Tripadvisor.

The location is superb between Trinity and St. Stephen's Green. You will love Ireland....

Buswell's for sure. Both are in the same general location, but Buswell's, IMO, slightly better location.

Closer to Dawson Street and all of its bars (Café En Seine!), and closer to Temple Bar. Hmmm, I just realized, my husband and I like to drink. A lot.
