Dublin Hostel - and suggestions?
I need to find a safe Dublin Hostel for my neice and her friend. Safety of the surrounding neighborhood is my biggest concern. Any suggestions for a concerned aunt?

Does it need to be a hostel? My husband and I stayed at ABC Guest House in the Drumcondra area, and found it very pleasant. It's an easy bus ride into the center of Dublin (about 10 minutes), and a bargain at 70E per room per night.

No problem!
I didn't feel at all unsafe in the area- it's primarily residential. Granted, I live in NYC, so perhaps I feel a bit safer in cities than some. But as far as I could tell, it seemed just fine.
