Hello,
I have traveled to Ireland before and Dublin but have not yet celebrated New Years Eve .. this year will be the first year!
We are not landing till the early morning of New Years and would like to book a reservation ahead of time.
My fiance and I are both 30 and are not a fan of clubs but instead want to enjoy the local pub atmosphere!
Any place you can suggest would be most appreciated!
Sláinte,
Bridget

Hi Bridget,
Where did you stay when you were here before? Are you looking for somthing "traditionally" Irish (i.e. - Irish music, dancing etc.) or something else?
We were there 2 years ago for New Years and were wandering around the Temple bar area when we stumbled upon Gogarty's went in for a drink and some lunch mid day and got so caught up in the atmosphere we just stayed til the midnight hour. We didn't have to pay or reserve as we were there so early but it does have wonderful traditional music and gets very crouded by midnight. You might check their website www.gogartys.com... or google them there are even some YouTube videos of the place.. fun
