dublin apartment rental--best neighborhoods?

Jump to last reply

We are spending a 5 nights in Dublin in July- we are 2 adults and 2 teens, ages 13/15.
Is anyone familiar with Millenium Walk Tower, or St Augustine St apts?- both are apartments advertised on the Stay.Dublin site.

We would like to choose a neighborhood that is safe and lively, and near public transportation. We actually prefer NOT being in the thick of the historic tourist area.

Any input appreciated on recommended neighborhoods, or other vacation apt. rental sites (no luck on VRBO-- all the apts in our budget range were already rented).

Also-- any suggestions for hotels with family rooms (4 beds)?

thanks!
