I did but they do not recommend a shuttle by name. They only told me about the bus to the City Centre. I am traveling with my 73 yr old mother so we are not interested in a bus but would rather avoid an expensive taxi ride. We are staying at the Hilton Dublin on Charlemont Place to clarify.

Charlemont is on the Green line south of the river so not easy by Bus & Tram as you would have to walk over the river from the 747 Bussáras bus stop to get the tram. I am afraid a taxi might be the simplest option if not the cheapest. The Hotel should offer more help with contact numbers or perhaps Dublin locals could offer more help than I am able to.

You may save some money by taking the bus into Dublin and then picking up a taxi from there.
Is Charlemont Place down by the canal? It's not a great location for exploring Dublin if you aren't walking.
The bus service in Ireland was very good when my wife and I were there a few weeks ago. It is not the unsavory option like it is in many parts of the U.S..
