How long approximately does it take to drive from Aukeyeri to Reyjkavik if you take the east coast ring road? (the longest route) Also, are you allowed to sleep in your car along the route? parked by a rest stop or something like that?

That's driving the WEST road. Driving the east road takes at least 12 hours. Could be longer if there's a lot of fog (quite often) driving the east fjords part, plus the road there is worse, so not possible to drive so fast. The speed limit on asphalt roads is 90 km/hour. No problem to sleep in your car. You can probably find some lovely spots to park your car, just have a sleeping bag as it can get quite cold at night sometimes, even in the summer.
