Google Maps says this route takes around 2 hours, but wondered if anyone has done this trip and can advise whether this timing would be correct.
It also provides 3 different routes, one with tolls- any experience on which route would be best? The toll route only cuts out a very short amount of time. Maybe one route is more scenic than another?
Arranging to meet guide in Matera around 9;30 am, ( weekday) have never driven in the area, or Italy for that matter, and would like to arrive on time!
Thanks
Driving time San Michele (Puglia) to Matera
