Driving The Black forest and The Dolimites

Jump to last reply

Friends.............Once again planing a trip to Europe. German, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. Most of which we are familiar with, but two legs are new. Hoping maybe you can help us with Must see's and best restaurants. Ten days and moving fast, most are one nighters. Arriving ZRH 7th of Sept 2016,
which brings me to Leg #1 ....Driving north through the Black forest up to Bad Duerkheim for worlds largest wine festival. Several days later we will be driving Leg #2... We will be driving south starting from one night in
Bad Reichenhall Germany, One in Flavon Italy just south of Bolzano and on down to two nights in Padova. Could also use Info on Lugano Switz, we will be staying in Ponte Tresa Italy just outside Lugano. This is our last stop on our way back to ZRH. We are four seniors who enjoy great scenery and good non touristy local restaurants. Any Info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance......................Tony5
