You mean (1) driving from site to site and parking throughout the course of the three days or (2) driving from elsewhere in Spain to your hotel and parking and not driving again until you leave the hotel and city?

I would not drive in a city. You can take the metro, buses, taxis. A car will definitely be an expense and a handicap. You'll spend a lot of time looking for parking at each place you want to visit.

Many thanks for the prompt replies again! I m lucky to find this forum!
As I will drive from Barcelona to Avignon to continue my trip after staying in Barcelona, just fancy if I should start driving when I visit the city spots!
And I think it is not a good idea! Thanks for the invaluable advice!

Why don't you drop your car in Girona or Figueres on your way to France and rent another one in Perpignan once you've crossed the border? You'll avoid expensive drop off fees.
