Driving around Lake Geneva from Chamonix France (east end or west end)?

Jump to last reply

At the end of a 14 day RV/cycling trip with my son (Auxerre, Lyon, Bedoin (climb Mt. Ventoux), Gap, Le Bourg Oisans (climb Alpe d'Huez), Grenoble, Chamonix, Montreaux, Switz, Besancon, Sezanne and then back to Paris to return home) we are trying to decide if it is best to drive around the east end of Lake Geneva or the west end. We will not have much time to explore on the route as we plan to be driving on to Besancon on our way back toward Paris. Any ideas about which is more scenic and pleasant of a drive. Thanks as always to the wisdom of the folks on this forum.
