Driver from Rome Airport

I am looking for a driver to transport me from Fiumicino Ariport in Rome to Teramo in the Abruzzi region. Has anyone used either Pegaso Limo or Rome Shuttle Limousine?

I have used Rome Shuttle Limousine. They picked up our family from the airport to the hotel and then several days later from the hotel back to the aiport. They were on time, courteous and helpful.

I just booked with Rome Shuttle limousine. Do you pay them in cash? I did not have to give them a credit card to secure my booking and that surprised me?

We used them for transfers to and from FCO (to the Campo dei Fiori area).

Both times we paid the driver in cash when he dropped us off.

They were great, BTW. We had the same driver both ways. Though he spoke limited English (and I spoke limited Italian), he was very pleasant and sweet. He showed up early for pickup on the way back to the airport, so no waiting on our part.

I was also very happy with Rome Shuttle---nice driver, spoke great English, immaculately clean car. Yes, paid in cash after he dropped us off and had not paid an ything prior which surprised me too.

I have also used them, and paid in cash when I arrived at my destination. But for a long trip such as you propose, you might get better prices with a private driver. If you want to go that route, I give the details of one in my report linked below. Note that he drives for Rome Shuttle and also does private driving; you have to scroll through the report to get to the post on 02/08/2007 where you will find the phone number of Massimo Rossi.
He is a nice guy with some English skills. I would use him for a long drive..
