How long is the drive from the Cinque Terre to Milan or Malpensa? Is it very senic? We are trying to decide if we should do it. Any advice? Thanks.

The drive from the CT (Monterosso or Riomaggiore) to Malpensa airport should take about 3 hours (maybe a bit more depending on which route you take and from where you start). You may either take the route through Genoa or Parma. If you're going in the summer, the route through Parma should be less crowded. Either way, you'd be taking mostly Autostrade, which aren't very scenic. If I had enough available time, I would take the Parma route and stop there for a couple of hours (you may plan to leave the CT in time to stroll the old centre of Parma and have lunch there). From Riomaggiore to Parma it should take about 1 1/2 hours. From Monterosso add some 15-20 minutes. <BR> <BR>Paulo <BR> <BR>
