Does the vatican accept credit cards?
Does the Vatican accept credit cards for payment for the tour? I paid for the Scavi tour with credit card via online reservation. I have a reservation for the Museum and Sistine Chapel tour to be paid the day of arrival. Can I use a credit card to pay for this at the Vatican?

We had a Vatican Museum tour in March. My husband paid for the tour with either his Visa credit card or Visa Debit card.
Please make a reservation and have your confirmation paper with you. You will be let right in and pointed to a counter to pay for your tour and then wait for your guide. I could not believe the line for those who did not have a tour. Worth the extra Euros!
