Does BritRail still offer a combination rail and auto rental package?

At one time BritRail offered a combined train and auto rental package? It was convenient if you wanted to take a train to Oxford, pick up a car for touring the Cotswolds, return the car, train to the Lake District and pick up a car there, etc.

I searched the rail site and googled with no success.

Thanks

KS452, thanks. Interesting site and I'll explore it further. The train/rental seems a little more restrictive than I would want.

I know, thought it might be -- but I followed a link under visitbritain.com > transportation > BritRail > packages and that's where it ended up. I'm thinking BritRail doesn't offer what you're thinking any longer but "farms it out" to an online travel agency. I would call BritRail's tollfree # and ask just to make sure.

Have fun exploring that beautiful region of England.

KS452, actually I won't be visiting those regions though I have in the past. This time I'll be doing day trips from London to Norwich for the bosses in the cathedral and to Colchester.

I just asked the question after reading a couple of posts because I thought the answer might be useful to others.

There were some itineraries including travel times that would be very helpful to anyone planning train trips to the major tourist cities.
