I will be alone in Florence for 2 days, one night before meeting family in Tuscany. i see many walking tours;vivarta, dark rome etc. on line. Are these recommended and Is this a good way to spend my first day, or is it very touristy.( i am a tourist after all)
I want to see the Uffuzzi but thought it too overwhelming, so also thought I'd do a tour of the "master pieces". Any recommendations? I was in Florence once about 30 years ago so Im very excited to go back.
Do you recommend walking tours of Florence and which one to choose?

Personally, I wouldn't. Get a guidebook and decide what you want to see, and do it at your own pace. If you get bored, you can always change your mind and do something else. I'm not a fan of organised tours.
