Do you have a favorite bed and breakfast or small inn in Chipping Camden?

Bramley House is sold out. Looking for other recommendations. Would like en suite bathroom, easy access to transportation (no rental car) and free WiFi. Thank you.

No other recommendations, but aren't David and Jane great? Love Bramley House.

Have you checked Trip Advisor?

http://www.tripadvisor.com/Tourism-g...Vacations.html

You could also ask Bramley House for a recommendation, we've done that a time or two when a favorite was booked up.

This is a hotel, not a B&B. I haven't stayed there but know the owners slightly (rented a large, fabulous farmhouse from them). Have eaten there several times. It is right in the center of Chipping Campden. Has mostly excellent reviews on TA (the few bad ones are pretty old - from before I met the owners. And one has a very interesting response from the manager. Just shows there are two sides to most stories)

Note: This is not the hotel of the same name in Broadway which is very posh/expensive

Can't recommend this one, as I've never stayed there, but I looked on Airbnb, and this was the closest listing to Chipping Campden: http://www.airbnb.com/rooms/67764

I personally would not use airB&B for a place in the Cotswolds. There are just so many terrific places to stay that have legit internet presence (their own websites and listings on the official Tourist organization sites).

" this was the closest listing to Chipping Campden"

It's a very pleasant 10 mile walk away. But there's no public transport, which is what the poster requested.

I've stayed at the Lygon Arms and recommend it highly. It's a small historic inn with a pub, right on the main street. The owners are great and we like the pub. The breakfast is included and is very substantial.

There's WIFI in the pub but they'll give you a connector wire so you can use a laptop in your rooms if the signal doesn't reach your room.

The bus stop is two minutes down the street, though it's quite limited where you can get to from Chipping Campden.

Try The Malt House in Chipping Campden. I have stayed there twice and it is lovely. At that time they served a wonderful breakfast and dinner.
