DISTANCE SEVILLE TO MARBELLA

CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF WE SHOULD RENT A CAR TO DRIVE FROM SEVILLE TO MARBELLA? HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE? WE'LL HAVE 2 NIGHTS IN MARBELLA IN NOV. WILL IT BE WARM ENOUGH TO GO TO THE BEACH? IS IT WORTH GOING OR SHOULD BE STAY CLOSER TO SEVILLE?

We drove from Seville to Marbella - I think it took about half a day. Nov. most likely will be mild, not HOT - not good for swimming but perhaps pleasant for strolling on the beach or eating seafood near the water. Personally that area is a good place to golf or to enjoy the beach - if sightseeing is what you are really interested in I would go to some of the "white towns" (like Ronda) instead of down to Marbella. Especially once you go east it gets very developed with condo after condo, not much Spanish ambiance.

You can check the time and distance at www.mappy.com or wwww.viamichelin.com.

Please try not to capitalize every word. It can be a bit distracting.

Nov is NOT beach weather near Marbella - although with a nice resort you can absolutely enjoy golf and tennis, some fine dining and a casino.

The drive is over 3 hours. If you make stops along the way, it may take you half, or a full day.
I agree Nov is no beach season. If it is sunny, you can make pleasant walks, but no bathing.
You can skip Marbella at all, and stay in Ronda (2 hours from Seville).
