Directions to Hypogeum in Malta Please!
At the suggestion of some fodorites, we've just booked tickets to the Hypogeum for our trip to Malta. We were able to print them out so we have the tickets. But I can't find anywhere online that gives me directions. We leave for the airport tomorrow at noon. Can anyone point me to a site with directions or at least an address? Or can somebody direct me there? We'll be driving on our own.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Since I had trouble finding the Hypogeum I made notes. From my trip report:
Bus from Sliema to Valetta and then another bus to Paola.
We asked for directions to the Hypogeum and followed the directions but completely passed it by.
The only sign is above the doorway and it's very easy to miss.
From the main square in Paola (by the bus stop) go uphill (it's a slight incline) about three blocks and turn right on Cemetery Street (Triq ic-Cimiterju). Watch for the Hypogeum sign on the wall with an arrow so you know which street to turn down. The Hypogeum is on the right side. The tour is 1 hour.

Thanks. I had already looked at the www.heritagemalta.org site to get information, but didn't see anywhere with directions. Since we'll be driving ourselves and not coming from Valetta, I'm still a bit concerned. But I've printed out this info and I figure we'll ask at a tourist office as soon as we get there. With your additional guidance and the info from the tourist office hopefully we'll be fine. It's just nice to have it figured out ahead of time.

One more piece of info...when you pick up your rental car and get a map don't be shocked to find the roads in Malta do not have names or route numbers. Just follow the signs from one place to another. I bought a map prior to my trip and when I looked at it I made this discovery. If you follow the signs and stay on the main roads you'll be fine.

Thanks so much. We have a road map of Malta we're bringing with us, but until your responses I hadn't found anything telling me the name of the town where the Hypogeum is located. I've just entered the info into GoogleMaps and printed it.
