Directions to Hard Rock in Paris

Need directions to Hard Rock in Paris. Looks as though Cadet is the closest metro. How far from there and is there some good shopping for teens close by. Don't plan to eat there, just get the t-shirt but since we'll be in the area we could shop. Is there a Monoprix in this area? Looking for a good teen shopping area close to a metro in zone
1 or 2. Thanks!

It's at 14, Boulevard de Montmartre, 9th arr. Métro: Richelieu-Drouot.
For shopping go to Printemps or Galeries Lafayette, it's within walking distance.
For Monoprix branches, check out:
www.pagesjaunes.fr
type in "Monoprix", "Paris", and "75" for Paris area. You will find all branches listed there.
PS: Most Paris attraction are with the 1-2 zones. Enjoy!

no, that isn't the closest metro stop, it's right in-between Grands-Boulevards metro stop (used to be called Montmartre stop) and Richelieu Drouot stop; it's only about a block from either, just about where Passage Jouffroy meets bed Montmartre.. I suspect you are mixing up rue du Montmartre with bd Montmartre (which is where it is). It's funny but I was sitting in a cafe a few weeks okay right next to it so that's why I noticed it. I don't know of any special shopping nearby, but that is fairly close to the big dept stores (Galeries Layfayette and Printemps); they are only 2-3 stops west of the Grands Boulevards stop (Havre Caumartin stop). I don't think there's a Monoprix right near Hard Rock, the closest address I could find was 97 rue Provence which isn't too far, but I think over towards those big dept stores. There is a Monoprix in the 9th up around the Moulin Rouge, just across the street, its address is 52 rue Fontaine, but I probably wouldn't go there--if you have to go somewhere by metro anyway, I think there are nicer Monoprix around. There used to be one right in-between Galaries Lafayette and Printemps at 56 rue Caumartin, but I'm pretty sure it closed down as I couldn't see it the last time I was there a few weeks ago. They do have a web site which used to have a great section on all their stores (www.monoprix.fr), including the depts in each, but I can't get that part of it to open now.

if you can find Musee Grevin ("wax" museum), Hard Rock is practically next door...
