DIRECT FLIGHTS PALERMO/ NAPLES-JFK from June

Jump to last reply

So, starting from June this year direct flights Ny Jfk - Palermo will resume service ,after a long interruction as I understand from the daily La Repupplica
And , starting from june , direct flights from New York Jfk to Naples will also resume service.
The flighst will be operated by the ALITALIA group.
Before if you wanted to go to Palermo or Naples from the US you should have flown to Milan or Rome or Pisa in Italy or to other European cities and then you woul have had to change.
Now a word about Palermo and Naples
Naples, the third biggest city in Italy after Rome and Milan , is also a strategic place to reach the isle of Capri, Pompei, the Amalfi Coast, as well as Caserta ( the Caserta palace is world famous)
Palermo, Italy's 5th largest city, with over 800.000 inhabitants is a beautiful city which deserves to be discovered, from the park with the secular trees to the gorgeous Cathedral to the awesome Teatro Massimo. And ,from there you can discover the countless beauties of Sicily, including Mount Etna....
Here the article from the website of La Repubblica
