Dijon or Beaune to Paris ?

After spending 3 nights in Burgundy I have to catch my 1pm flight from CDG in Paris. Now with this said, where should I stay in Burgundy - Beaune or Dijon? It seems like there is no direct train service from Beaune, it loops back to Lyon first. Dijon has a direct that arrives at 9am at CDG by TGV.
Thank you all

Either way, for a 1 p.m. flight it will be an early departure from Burgundy. Assuming that the Lyon train arrives at an acceptable time for your flight (2.5 hours before departure), you would still have to get from Beaune to Lyon to catch the Dijon to CDG train. I would stay in Dijon.

given those options, I would obviously stay in Dijon. I would never stay in a city that required a train transfer on the morning I had to go to the airport. I didn't really find Beaune that interesting, anyway, I much prefer Dijon, so that would be another reason.

Yup sans doubte restez en Dijon, which is also a nice town to explore for a half-day or so before your early morning reveille - get something close to the train station if possible. Take the Owl Trail in Dijon - yes Dijon Gives a Hoot!

We've done both - Dijon to CDG and Beaune to Dijon to CDG.

I don't know why you would go to Lyon from Beaune. There is a 6:14 train from Beaune that arrives in Dijon at 6:39, and connects to the 7:13 which arrives at CDG at 9:03. On Sat, the train from Beaune leaves later - but still has a workable connection. No train from Beaune on Sundays in April. The train to Lyon leaves at 6:00 and arrives at CDG at 10:32.

Still - we love Dijon and I would take the TGV from there.
