Day trips/overnight from Gothenburg

Hello- we are traveling to Gothenburg to pick up a Volvo through their overseas delivery program.

Can anyone suggest some towns within a few hours of Gothenburg that we could visit on a 1-2 day 'excursion'? We will then return to Gothenburg to drop the car back to Volvo and we will take the train to Stockholm.
