Day trip to Santiago de Compostela From Vigo or La Coruna?

Jump to last reply

We are sailing to both Vigo and La Coruna on the Norwegian Sun in May. I am wondering which town would be the better to visit Santiago de Compostela from. From the reading I have done, Vigo appears to be the nicer town to explore from the cruise ship and that La Coruna is the less interesting of the two. Which leads me to think that we should make our way to SdC from La Coruna. I have also learned that there is easy access to both bus and train to SdC from La Coruna.
Any comments?
