Day Trip to Reims

Jump to last reply

We'll be taking a day trip to Reims basically to visit a champagne house + the cathedal and basilica. I just heard from Veuve C. that they're fully booked on the day that we will be touring Reims. Where else would be a comparable place to do a tour? Also,
I just purchased a RT to Reims and noticed that the evening inbound is not direct. The local train leaves Reims Station with a TGV connection in Champagne with just 8 minutes between the arrival of the local train and the departure of the TGV train. Is this enough time to change into the TGV? What happens if we fail to connect, that is, if the local train is late? Will the TGV allow us to board the next train eventhough our tickets are non-refundable and not exchangeable. Thanks.
