Day trip or 1 night in Paris from London (w 7y/o & visiting Disney)

I'm going to take my daughter to London next summer for 10 days.

I would like to go to Paris in the middle of the trip and visit the Eiffel Tower and Disney.

I'm trying to decide if I should stay one night at a Disney hotel or just get back to London that evening.

Thank you! This will be DD's first trip to Europe!

I dont think you will have enough time to do Disney and the Eiffel Tour (or any part of Paris) in one day. If you live i the US and/or have been to Disney there you are likely to be very disappointed with Disney Paris. How old is your daughter?

If you want to do both I think you will have to spend at least 1 night giving you most of a day at Disney and most of the next day in Paris.

Thank you both for your responses. She hasn't been to Disney in the US yet (almost unheard of for a 7 year old I'm sure) so I thought it would be fun.

I wouldnt spend a day of my European vacation at Disney - I would spend it seeing Europe! Enjoy London and/or PAris and save Disney for the US version in my opinion.

(almost unheard of for a 7 year old I'm sure)

I'm 32 and I've still never been, so not THAT unheard of. (My parents kept telling us they'd take us when my youngest brother was old enough to walk around on his own. He's now 29.)

Ditto the others, though - if you want to take her to Paris, take her to *Paris*. Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, fresh pastries and hot chocolate, crepes, the Pompidou - there's tons for kids to love. Especially if she reads or has read the Madeline books. Save Disney for a trip in the US.

< I thought it would be fun>

No. It's Disney, run by the French. The opposite of fun.

There is no way you could "do'' Paris and Disney in one day. If you trip was flipped - 10 days in Paris and a day trip to London - then you'd have time to spend one full day at Disney. But in your situation - no Disney.

Lots of folks do day trips to Paris from London - but me personally I wouldn't go to Paris unless I could stay over one night. 1.5 days in Paris will give a basic overview.

I don't pooh pooh Disneyland - I've been to Anaheim a dozen times, Hong Kong and Paris. But I would NOT go to DL Paris unless I had been to Paris several times.

Wow, I think some are a bit rude, millions of people do enjoy Disney ,, even with the horrible French people running it Havanna... ( have you even been?).

But to answer question , I am pretty sure you are not aware of logistics, Paris and Disney are about 50 minutes apart, and the Eiffel Tower is busy,, and theres just no way I would make a 7 hr old endure that sort of very long very busy day, in fact I wouldn't do it as an adult.

Choose Paris and Disney ONLY if you can stay a night.. its simply not a daytrip to do both.

Not totally unheard...I never went to Disney as a child (and as an adult only to run the marathon).

Paris is so special and the time you have dedicated to it is too short to go to Disney, especially if you will want to go up to the top of the ET.

Do the ET, maybe a boat ride on the Seine...
