Day let rooms Dublin Airport

Need a room for a few hours rest near the Dublin airport. Probably from 9am until 1pm. Does anyone know if the hotels at the airport or in town offer such an option. Saw a website between 9 and 5, that seems to offer what I want. However, I'm not sure it's legitimate..

probably best bet, they have these weird sleep pods but they are not really for sleeping, holes in the wall. I love the sleep pods some airports have.

Both Travelodge and PremierInn in Swords have late check out facilities, you book the hotel for the previous night and add an hour to the 12 noon checkout they offer anyway.

I have just been investigating the same possibility for a family trip to Ireland. I have already inquired about the use of the executive lounge, but it is only available to transit passengers or departing passengers. If that's your situation, they are reasonably priced, but don't have stellar reviews.

My daughter will be arriving four hours earlier than us, after which we'll all leave together in a rental car, so it wouldn't work for us.

The next best possibility seems to be the Dublin airport Holiday Inn Express, which specifically offers day let rooms. I've sent them an inquiry, but haven't heard back yet.

You can ask them yourself, but I will also report back when I hear from them.

You'd need to take a taxi or use their airport shuttle to get there.

As I said, I'm checking back after talking to the Holiday Inn Express (who never answered my email, by the way).

The day let rate depends on the date, and availability seems limited, as they had no rooms available for my date in mid-July. They told me that the average cost would be about €105; renting a room for the night before, with late check-out, would be €139 for my date, so it's not a big difference.

I asked to be put on a wait list for the day let, but I'll check other hotels as well.

Problem is even the airport hotels in Dublin hyke prices if there is some event in the city. Travelodge Swords would be my choice on price, PremierInn because of the shuttle. If you rent with Europcar then you will probably find the Swords collection a good bit cheaper than collecting at DUB.

I've just found that the Maldron Hotel, right at the airport, does day lets. For the date I want, the price was €70, much less than the Holiday Inn, and in a much more convenient location.

I found a room at the Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport through a website called dayuse.com. Has anyone ever used them. They say I am confirmed but sent me no confirmation number and didn't ask for my credit card.
