Davos help

Am attending a meeting in Davos so tied up from 8 til 1030 and then again after 430. Can anyone recommend hotels that will get me to the conference centre but allow me to head out mid day to ski midday(intermediate skier). Looking for better quality hotel
Also advice on whether to get a single room or double/single occupany, if travelling alone
