The tiny village (hamlet) of Sertig. The picturesque village of Monstein. The Kirchner museum. The old-world charm hotel Schatzalp. Skiing from Weissfluh the down to Küblis.

This run is closed at the moment, probably not enough snow in Küblis, and I didn't notice you'll be in Davos in April - most likely too late for this run, sorry. It is the legendary 'Parsennabfahrt' (Parsenn run). Officially it starts at Weissfluhjoch (2693 m, I started at the top, 2844 m) and ends in Küblis (814 m). Thus the elevation difference is almost 2000 m - length is 12 km.

I found it special because it is really fun, long and not too difficult (intermediate is ok). The lower half of the run is away from any lifts in the woods, very beautiful and quiet. And it is a relaxing train ride back to Davos (included in the ski pass).

It sounds beautiful, thank you.

Does this mean 'April' is going to be a disappointment in Davos?

April is in general a bit late for good (powder) skiing and winter wonderland. However, Davos is at high enough elevation that you have a good chance of enough snow - probably not much in the village, though, and the snow quality on lower parts of the runs will probably be poor.
