Spanair has connecting flights between Salzburg, Austria and Alicante.
there may be charter flights at that time of year.
careful wit european luggage alowances.. 15-20 kilos max.
overweight is VERY expensive comparatively.
alicante is a tourist mecca and loads of airlines go there.
www.whichbudget.com or general flight info at www.lastminute.com or www.rumbo.es
Figure on Alicante and the Costa Blanca being very crowded with vacationers thru the first week of September. The area around Denia & Benidorm is very popular with German tourists. It should be OK for your daughter since her lodging had probably been arranged by the school. Our daughter just got back from that area yesterday after a 'Spring Break' trip with the Grand-kids. They had a great time!
