Dalmation Coast or Nice, France?

Jump to last reply

Hello Fellow Travelers,

I am going to a wedding in Germany in August this year. So that I don't bother the heck out of the bride and groom-to-be the whole week before their wedding, I'm planning to see something in Europe I haven't seen yet, before making my way up to Hamburg for the wedding at the end of my trip. I have already seen most of Germany so I was thinking broader. I was initially thinking Norway but it seems to be extremely pricey. I have been to most western European countries already, so I was hoping to do something a little different. I'm currently thinking I wouldn't hate a beautiful beach-y type vacation. I've whittled it down to the Dalmatian Coast in Croatia or Nice, France (however I'm still open to other suggestions... the Portuguese coast was in the list for a while). Thoughts?
