You will really have to try hard to spend E120 daily in Krakow.
Even in Budapest I found things to be reasonable but not as reasonable as Krakow.
Didn't visit Warsaw so I cannot comment.

Of course souvenirs are in a different category as I expect you might find some hand crafted things that might run your tab up a little. I didnt' buy many souvenirs.

p.s For example the Schlinger Factory museum in Krakow, which I highly recommend, costs about $5.
Try also to go to Underground Rynek. The excavations under the Cloth Hall. Very neat.

I wish I had your budget!!! I guess you're going to do a lot of shopping.

I'm not sure why you're quoting Euros when you live in Canada and are going to 2 countries that do not use the Euro. E120 is 166 CAD.

I saw the State Rooms and Royal Apartments at Wawel. If you've seen castles and palaces you might want to skip this one. Nothing special. If you are new to castles and palaces then see it. The State Rooms are self paced and the Royal Apts are docent led.

You can reserve tickets ahead for about 16PLN. Read my trip report about Wawel (it's a long report so you might want to search on Wawel). It will give you a lot of information about this area of Krakow and you're gonna need that information. The Polish TIs are not very forthcoming.

BTW it's pronounced VA-vel, not wa-well as a friend of mine keeps calling it.

A dinner budget of 62 PLN for two would feed you quite well, even near Rynek Glowny.

I never spend that much money in those places, but I rarely do anywhere, even more expensive cities (for the things you name). But the big quesiton no one can answer is that you want to include souvenirs in your budget and no one knows what that means to you and how much you spend on them. For the other things, you can easily get by for 100 euro a day, I'd say (or less).
