Trip Report Czech Republic done the right way 5th best place in CZ

Jump to last reply

I will add to my observations on the Czech Republic and offer that the best of the Hapsburg building sites I have seen is in Valtice and Lednice world heritage sites. There are 13 of them in the Czech Republic and this one is on the Austrian, Slovakian border area. If you can get there I encourage you to do it. We met some cyclists who were on a trail-rail trip in the town of Valtice they did not know as much as they should have about the area but still I think it is something you will never forget and central to the history of the Czech Republic in the last 3 centuries. We were turned on to it by Rasto Lauf of Prague Day Trips. We also stayed in Zamecek La Veneria. Probably the most beautiful room my wife have ever stayed in during our 35 years of traveling. I encourage To look this up and contact Rasto it is an overnight tour but goes through some of the best Czech scenery you will ever see.
Rasto Lauf is the kind of person you can leave all details to and you will have the trip of a lifetime. The guy is a pure genius particularly in investigative genealogy. Finding lost relatives which you have given up on are really just a challenge to Rasto
