I've tried the Africa/Middle East category with no responses. I'm in Seattle. I've got a little over two weeks vacation in April of which one week I'm spending with friends in Cyprus. I'm looking for advice on the best cities to fly into Cyprus from, or once I'm in Cyprus, cities to stop in on the way home. For example, is it best to come in through London for a week then move on or go straight to Cyprus then hit Istanbul on the way home ? I'm totally open. Thanks.

Dear Bob,I too have beern seeking out Cyprus so why don't you scan down this page and under "seeking info on Cyprus" you will see that I got 6 responses to my query.Hope you find it helpful.
My wife and I spent two weeks in Cyprus last year, we found the best and the cheapest way was to fly to the UK, then look at the travel channel on the sky tv or go into a local travel agent and see what is available onthe last minute. You have to be prepared to travel with only a days notice sometimes. We flew from Manchester Eng. to Phafos, which we found to be pretty central if you plan to tour the Island. If you go to Phafos I would recomend a restuarnt called the Devenshire it is owned by a couple called Anna and Nick, food is A1 .
