Currency in Copenhagen

I need only to travel from the airport to the port to pick up a cruise. Can I pay a taxi by credit card? If not Would travelers' checks work? Any suggestions welcomed - remember this is all I need krona for.

Arrive with about $50.00 equivalent of Krone.

You will nee som money for tips for luggage porters at the airport and the dock plus you might want a cold beer and a snack before you board.

Come to think of it make that $75.00 equivalent.

We took a cab from the city to the airport and were able to use a credit card.

At the moment there are about 5.4 Danish Krone to the US$. So if you want $75 worth of Danish Krone, go to the ATM and withdraw around 400 Kroner. Of course, keep an eye on the exchange, as rates could change before your trip.

Traveler's checks are the most expensive way to exchange money and should only be taken as a back-up to your ATM card.

Thanks Abram that is the news I wanted. Any Krona I have left are wasted and I hate to pay ATM charges for such a comparatively small amount. Paying by credit card seems the way to go.
Thanks for the other replies - sorry I'm so cheap!
