Cruising Greek Isles, Adriatic, Greece & Turkey - Sea sickness?

Hello, Wondering if you guys can help. My husband and I are 'evaluating' whether or not to take a cruise (Norwegian Gem) to either the 7 day Adriatic, Greece & Turkey or 7 day Greek Isle itineraries in September. I get really sea sick and would appreciate anyone's advise that has taken either of these cruise routes. Has anyone cruised during September, and if so, what were the seas like? Thanks in advance !

We just came back from this trip on the Celebrity Equinox. My friend who always pops Bonine on every cruise stopped taking it on the first day. My husband who always wears those annoying wrist bands to ward off sea sickness took them off as well. We never even felt like the ship was moving. It had to be the smoothest cruise we have ever been on. I imagine that it will be the same for you. Enjoy. It was a wonderful trip.

That is almost like asking if it is going to rain on September 7th. Generally speaking that area at that time is pretty calm. However, the worse one day cruising experience we ever had was in the Aegean Sea. However one bad day out of about 60 days is fairly minor. Very hard to predict.

I took the Greek Isle tour on the Gem - 22 to 29 may - the ship had 2000 passengers and we did not hear of one with any motion sickness. I recommend it highly. There was a tiny bit of a roll on the last day at sea - again - I did not see anyone really having a hard time - so I would suggest this is not an issue. You'll have a harer time with the vaporettos in Venice than you will on the ship.
