Croatia Sailing

Has anyone got any good recommendations for my girlfriend and I for a Croatia Sailing tour this coming summer? We are 28 and 32 and have done a bit of travel over the years already, so don't need our hand held all the way. Looking for something relaxed but also social. Would love to hear back from you all! Thanks

Have a look at this;
http://www.theyachtweek.com/croatia

It's very popular among young people here.

I booked a tailored cruise at www.yachtgetaways.com becase I was taking my whole family. They have a week's journey (7 nights) on a shared boat called their Explorer Route that has a nice itinerary. Their sister company is www.medsailors.com which seems to appeal to a younger crowd and is less expensive, but I think theirs is only 6 nights. You can find reviews of them on Facebook. I have found them to be very professional, but I don't actually go until early June so I can't vouch for them completely. I did a ton of internet research before selecting them.

There are trips from Split to Dubrovnik and Dubvrovnik to Split. The Split portion actually starts/ends at a marina in Trogir, which is closer to Split Airport (SPU). Good luck!

Today there is a lot of agencies that are organizing sailing trips for bigger or smaller group of people in the period of a week or more. But there is also a possibility for you to rent a yacht or a boat and go sailing by yourself or with the experienced skipper. That is much more relaxed and intimate option, and includes the assumption of your basic knowledge about the basis of navigation. This is perhaps the more expensive option, but certainly a lot more intimate one. In any case it is good to know that the weather and sea is always tricky, and it is essential to have your safety at sea in the first place. As part of ensuring safety at sea, in Croatia there is a company http://www.emergensea.net/en/safety_at_sea/81/19 that provides the necessary assistance at sea in case of accidents and troubles at sea, allowing you to have less worry. Write down their number and let yourself in the hands of a professional skipper and sail into an unforgettable adventure and holiday - because there is no better vacation than the sailing vacation on the sea

I have more than once booked a sailing trip in Croatia at http://www.kayalodge.de/aktiv-mitsegeln/kroatien.html. The people on board the modern yacht were very nice, relaxed atmosphere, experienced skipper. They also offer sailing trips from Croatia to Italy. So you can visit two countries on one trip. I recommend this tour operator you.

Hello, I can see that the post you made is old. However, I would like to share my experience sailing in Croatia. I used top sailing charter to visit the Dalmatian Islands, and I must say its huge experience. The fact that you can sail at your ease is wonderful and wake up to new landscapes everyday is amazing. I totally recommend chartering a yacht!

Advertising is not allowed on this site, so you cannot plug a sailing company with which you are affiliated.

would recommend to go with car to e.g. Istria, take a boat and take 1-2 week to go south and come back.
