Crete travel itinerary help too much or doable?

Jump to last reply

I will be landing in Chania and staying near Kissamou for 5 nights or days 1-5
I plan to do day trips to Elafonisi, Peleochora, Sougia, Chania and visit a few Vinyards near Diapanyas.
Day 6: Aptera and Argyroupoli and overnight in Rethymno.
Day 7: Armeni, Spili, Agia Triada for quick stops on our way to Phaestos and Gordys. Overnight.
Day 8: Travel to Knosses and visit Irakleio Archeological museum. Overnight.
Day 9: Fly to Athens from Irakleio.

Is this a good split for days 6 &7 or too much. Other suggestions. Also thought we could spend 6 nights in near Kissamos and save Phaestos and Gordys for another trip. Help me decide. Flights are booked already and we will have a car.
