Crepe restaurant in 6th arr of Paris
9-10 years ago I went to a cozy, cute crepe restaurant on a small street off Blvd St Germain. Sadly, I can't seem to find the name of it and would love to visit again. Anyone know the place or have ideas for crepes in the 6th (not a street vendor)?

There is one on the street Gregoire de Tours perpendicular to Blvd St. Germain on the way to Buci Market. There are numerous ones on r. St. André des Arts as it descends to place St. Michel. We've eaten at 3 of them and they were all very good.

hi denisea,
if you put the address you want into google maps, you can then ask it to show the creperies [or cafes or restaurnts, or anything else] in the area.
my hunt came up with this one:

as others have said, there are many more.

For over a decade, I've been getting my crepes at the place on rue St.Andres des Arts, in the 6th, almost across from the movie theater. I order from the take out window, but one can sit inside. I was thrilled when I rented an apartment, in 2008, next door to the movie theater. Then I could go to the crepe place regularly. It's good food for a quick bite. I like the grand marnier ones...that's a good picker upper one. Smiles. Happy Travels!

Our favorite one was a couple of doors down from the theatre on St. Andre des Arts, but it closed last year. There was a vegetarian place being built in that spot when we were there last Sept. Now we go to a small shop nearer Blvd. St. Michel, just down from the ice cream store and the Subway; they serve through the front window but you can also dine inside; sandwiches, pastries and breads also available.

It's not the place you were asking about -- but we were just in the area, and our favorite place actually was a little walk-up stand. My husband remembers it being on Rue Bonaparte just a few blocks from the Seine. I'm not so good with remembering exact locations, but it was almost impossible not to stumble upon. It's by no means a sit-down place, as I imagine you are looking for, just a stand...but the crepes were terrific.

One of the most fun things to do on a warm fall evening after dinner is to walk up Rue St. Andres toward St. Michel and get a nutella and banana crepe from the stand in front of St. Germain des Pres Church. There's a bench right there and you can watch the people, the lights coming on, the shoppers closing up and just... absorb.

There are lots of crêpe restaurants in the 6th, and most of them are right off the boulevard Saint Germain, either on the pedestrian streets east of the boulevard Saint Michel (rue de la Harpe), or on the rue Saint André des Arts to the west of that boulevard, so many might fit your description. They all produce pretty good crêpes.
