Costa Brava on way Girona to Barcelona
Hello Fodorites
We (couple+5year) are on first visit to Barcelona.
Taking Ryanair we land at Girona 10/May Sunday 12:00 hours.
We intend to spend one night on a beach resort at Costa Brava.
We are thinking about Tossa de Mar.
Can anyone help with a public transport ?
Is there some thing like a day card (24H) in that region?
Renting car is not an option.
Any other resort suggestion is also equally welcome if more accessible.
We just want to clean clear water like on this main page (don't know where it is!)

There is a Sarfa bus leaving Girona airport at 2.30 pm, arriving at Tossa bus station at 3.25 pm

As above, take a Sarfa bus from Tossa bus station to Barcelona bus station (estacio del Nord) www.sarfa.es

Children under 4 travel for free. You can buy tickets on line, at Girona airport (there is a little kiosk at the entrance of the parking lot, to your right as you exit the airport), at Tossa bus station and from the drivers. No need to book in advance.
