Cost of Taxi from Ravello to Positano?
I am attending the Ravello Concert and it ends at 10:30 pm. The sitabus schedule shows last bus departing at 10:25 pm. I contacted Ravell Concert Society discounted taxi vendors and got pricing of 85, 90 and 100 euros. That is a rip-off. Are there any other options?

Actually, that is probably the going rate for that time of night using a taxi. From Ravello to Amalfi is at least 20E and Positano is much farther. The taxi driver most likely would not pick up a fare returning from Positano to Ravello. Taxis are not cheap in this area.

The distance from Ravello to Positano is around 15 and a half miles, so the taxi fare is not that much of a rip off. Your best bet is to try and share a cab back to Positano with others heading that way after the concert. You may well have to wait a while for a cab though, as lots of people will be doing the same thing.

nochblad - for heaven's sake. Have you ever been to Ravello? Clearly not. Have you ever been to Villa Rufolo? Looks like you haven't.
If you have then, looks like you're the stupid one with no idea.
The OP has no choice. It's shave 10 minutes off the concert (hardly a sacrifice) and take the bus or pay the premium to get themselves back to Positano.

5 years ago a pre-arranged for a car service to take us back to Positano from Amalfi, after the Sant Andrea festival and it was 90 euro and took around 45 minutes. And that didn't include the trip from Ravello to Amalfi. I am surprised the prices you are getting quoted aren't higher.

nochblad - your contribution to this post has been zero. What is your advice (apart from attacking me). Would love to hear what you have to say. The OP thinks a taxi is a rip off - what do YOU think they should do? Walk? LOL.
