Cosmos Jewels of Slovenia tour
Doing this tour next summer (2017).
Can anyone tell me what time of day this tour returns to Ljublana on Day 7? We are considering moving on on this day rather than waiting until morning of Day 8 as we are traveling to a Wedding in Warsaw. Thanks

Unfortunately, Globus/Cosmos are very cagey about giving you an answer. They don't want people doing what we are proposing. That's why I'm reaching out to some of you who have been.

If the tour is ending the next morning anyway, why would they care if you leave the night before? You are not asking for a refund and I am sure you will still give tips.
They probably don't want you booking a flight or train, then being unhappy and blaming them if the tour runs late. We were on a tour bus once, hit traffic backed up from an accident, and were several hours late for our next destination, missing sightseeing and dinner reservations.
If something like that happened, would you still depart that night or want the tour company to hold your hotel room after all?
They probably can't stop you if you really want to leave early.

According to viamichelin Plitvice to Zagreb is rwo hours 41 minutes with no traffic, and Zagreb to Ljubljana is another two hours. Add in sightseeing in Zagreb and that's a full day. Plus it looks like direct flights to Warsaw are cheaper from Zagreb than from Ljubljana (check skyscanner.com as well as kayak). Since the tour starts in Ljubljana you can arrive early and do all your sightseeing there before the tour starts.
I see no reason to tell the tour company what you are planning ahead of time. Just tell the tour director the day you leave Plitvice.
