What are you interests? Museums, castles, Viking ships, nice parks, beer tours, etc.
Things I enjoyed but you may not:
Carlsberg Brewery tour at the famous Elephant Gate - a work of art in itself - see Carlsberg or Tuborg being brewed and bottled on guided tours and free samplings afterwards!
Christiana - the Free City Of - one of the last remianing 70s communes and now said to be Copenhagen's number 2 tourist site after Tivoli - Tivoli BTW is an absolute must whether or not you like old-fashioned amuseument parks like this featuring live shows and few real thrill rides.
Of course the Little Mermaid statue - the icon of Copenhagen right where you dock probably
Day trips to Helsingor (Elsinore) to see 'Hamlet's Castle" and roskile to see the Viking Shi Museum or to Frericksborg ?name to see the royal castle in a lake
Shopping the long shopping street then is a must
And museums galore.

My favorite place in Copenhagen - something unique and interesting no matter how you are - and if into it a place to buy and consume cannabis legally - on Pusher St to use in on-site Bohemian cafes!

Just to be clear, the brewery stopped producing beer in 2008. There is a microbrewery in the site that makes Jacobsen, but not Carlsberg or Tuborg.
Still a cool place though and worth seeing now as there are plans to redevelop the site.

We really enjoyed touring Rosenberg Castle - there is a lot to see (it's not empty like some castles are - there are furnishings, art, etc.) in the mirror room, look for the mirror on the floor, which the king used to steer women in skirts to stand on in order to see up their skirts.
We found the National Museum fascinating – there is all kinds of interesting stuff here.
Just wandering around the Stroget area is fun.
If you like art museums, the Ny Carlsberg Glypoteck has a nice collection - lots of sculpture and a Beautiful atrium.

Copenhagen has some great museums - including a history museum starting from prehistoric times and several good art museums. There are a number of castles - check out the changing of the guard at the royal palace and Rosenborg which is lovely. Agree to also go to Roskilde to see the cathedral and viking ship museum as well as the several castles just north of the city.
Definitely spend an evening in Tivoli Garden - very old fashioned but charming.
And do walk the Stroget to see some wonderful home and glassware designs as well as all major stores. Nyhaven is good for an evening/dinner.
One thing we really liked was the Resistance Museum - but we are history freaks.

You hotel may be providing you with uber luxury services - stretch limo with phone TV, beverages and snacks, etc and naturally are putting a nice profit for themselves on the top.
If you want that kind of service and have money to burn that's fine- but we travel that way only when the company is paying (other than a very rare special occasion).

Illums Bolighus is among my favorite stores anywhere. Almost a museum of modern Scandinavian design as much as a store.

<<Illums Bolighus is among my favorite stores anywhere.>> Mine too, the lighting and furniture departments are amazing.
Have an inexpensive lunch at the top floor of Magasin department store, have coffee & cake at La Glace.

Have some open sandwiches & a beer for lunch in a charming square

Visit Kastellet which are old fortifications of Copenhagen.
Bakken is very nice, although not in the same league as Tivoli, the adjoining Deer Park and walk to the beach is very nice. Klampenborg is a very nice suburb of Copenhagen. A good place for lunch is at Peter Lieps Hus:-

Our last stop before we moved home was to the furniture department. Probably half our furniture is from there. They took care of everything and between a discount for multiple pieces and there being no VAT on an export, it ended up slightly cheaper than buying in the US.
