There is also an overnight ship (www.dfdsseaways.com) or daytime trains.

The best way? I think it is to fly. The flights are usually cheap and take about an hour. CPH airport is painless, as is Oslo.
Others like the ferry, but I find it is often/usually more expensive than the flights + hotel, and is more of a hassle. Certainly, if it is a weekend, then you will pay quite a bit for the ferry. Don't know about the train, but that is a LONG way out of the way.

I used the overnight sailing that GeoffHamer linked for you (in the other direction). I quite liked it, but I tend to like boats and water. Going down the Oslo fjord in the evening was a real treat. I am sure that going up early in the day is a particularly nice way to reach Oslo.
