Copenhagen Hotel: Frederick, Square, Arthur, Admiral?

Trying to decide where to stay in Copenhagen for a good location, clean, modern design, honeymoon for 4 nights in August:

We are looking at these:
Hotel Kong Frederick
The Square
Hotel Kong Arthur
Hotel Admiral
Clarion Collection 27

Which one?!

Thanks!

Of these have only stayed at the Admiral. It it a converted warehouse and some of the rooms have very large ceiling beams in odd places. IMHO it was quite basic. Also - I'm not fond of the location - prefer to be more in the center - nearer Tivoli.

We stayed near Tivoli and wouldn't stay there again. The area wasn't the best. We preferred the location the of the Admiral, the Nyhaven . Everyone has a different take on location.

My husband and I had the best time at Hotel Kong Arthur. It's right by the lakes - perfect for romantic walks - and yet only 5 minutes from the city centre. The rooms are stylish and comfy, and it has a great spa and wellness area which you can use free of charge.

We have stayed in Admiral and Square. Both have pluses and minuses but are generally acceptable, pleasant even. Square has smaller rooms and AC. It's more of a business hotel in the main, downtown part of CPH, while Admiral has more of a suburban motel feel (even though it's a multi-story hotel, is on water but doesn't have AC. We were there at a particularly hot time and really missed not having AC. You will be there in August and could experience similar discomfort. That said, we loved the location in the Nyhaven area but still away from the noisiest part of it. If I recall correctly Kong Arthur is more expensive than Square or Admiral but if it has AC it might be your best bet--though you could probably be happy at all three.

Haven't stayed in all the properties but the Square is a modern design and has a good location. Nyhavn is fine, prefer the Marriott and the Square - for design the SAS Royal or the Copenhagen Island but its a bit far out unless you have a car or take a taxi. Designwise though it is interesting although rooms can be quite small. There are other options though if a modern Scandinavian design is required.

I'd go with the Admiral or the 27. I greatly prefer the Admiral end of town to that around the Square and the Kong Frederick (the bar/restaurant is quite good). The 27 has a good bar, is in a good location, and offers the modern design you want. Would place the Kong Arthur last, due to a lesser location.
