Copenhagen and Iceland
I'm in the planning stages of an upcoming trip in June. We want to take advantage of Icelandair's free stopover and are looking at splitting our time between Copenhagen and Iceland. We will have 9 days on the ground and I wanted to get a feel of how we should split our days. We want to explore the food scene in Copenhagen with possible trips to Malmo and the Viking museum. In Iceland we want to take in the amazing scenery and participate in some adventure activities. How would you split 9 days?

As an aside, the "free stopover" claim does not mean that you can always get a free stopover. It means that you are not penalized for stopping over. Often you cannot break the journey there without taking flight segments on different days that are more expensive than they would have been if you had flown segments on the same day.

In Iceland I would rent a car, and then base your itinerary on how long you are planning to stay. When you have decided how long you will be in Iceland post back on here and we can advise you further.
