I've heard good things about Context tours in Italy but haven't found any reviews for their Paris tours. I'd appreciate hearing any of your experiences with their Paris tours?
Thanks in advance!

kp,
We took the Montparnasse and the Avante Gardes tour in June with Ara. The tour was excellent, very informative (similar to the Rome tours ~ 3 hours). We are planning on taking another when we visit Paris in March.

IMO you CANNOT do any BETTER than these people, period.
We had a totally private tour lined up with them for our arrival day in Paris earlier this year. On the day we were supposed to leave we were unable to make our East Coast gateway connection due to weather which meant we would arrive in Paris one day late. We were forced to return home and wait overnight to fly.
I called ContextParis on the phone and they very cheerfully re-arranged the private guide to meet us on the actual day of arrival.
We had previously only had e-mail contact with the ContextParis office and the negotiations/arrangements process was continually excellent. They did exactly what we wanted them to do, made appropriate suggestions, etc., etc. And that "guide" we got knew exactly what we needed and he delivered. Our tour was pricey but worth every penny we paid.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Thank you for your replies. It seems that, that while everyone said the Italy tours are excellent, the reservation process was not. So nice to know that the Paris trip is excellent in both areas.
