Can anyone give me information on the Connemera Ponies in the area of Maam Cross?
I thought I saw something last year about a special weekend in that area I'm not sure what it was but plan on being back there this fall and thought it would be something worth looking into

The Connemara Pony Show takes place in Clifden, Connemara, on the third Thursday of August. You can also see the ponies at the Connemara National Park near Clifden. Go to the American Connemara Pony Assn. website at www.acps.org--perhaps they have more info. They are wonderful, wonderful beasts! BTW Maam Cross is very near Clifden so I'm assuming this is what you read about but maybe there's another event.
